Joshua A. Dobi, CFP®, brings three decades of experience helping clients navigate complex financial landscapes. As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional, he offers comprehensive financial planning and investment advisory services utilizing a broad spectrum of instruments—including stocks, bonds, options, mutual funds, ETFs, annuities, life insurance, limited partnerships, and REITs.

Joshua earned his BA in International Business from Grove City College. Deeply committed to serving his community, he has held leadership roles across numerous civic and non-profit organizations, including serving on the Boards of Directors for the following organizations:

• Lake Norman Chamber of Commerce, Chairman
• Cain Center for the Arts
• Bethel Presbyterian Church Session, Finance Chair
• Novant Health Foundation Advisory Board
• North Mecklenburg Rotary Club
• The Peninsula Club, Finance Committee

Erica serves as Vice President on the NMFG team, overseeing client relationships and managing the team's operations. She brings a strong background in client management, including twelve years as a Client Management Executive with a regional marketing firm. In her role, Erica helps drive organization, collaboration, and a high level of service across the team. She is married to Joel, and they have a daughter, Addison.  Outside of work, Erica enjoys running, hiking, and spending time with her family.

Corey Hedges, CFP®, has dedicated over a decade to guiding clients through complex financial landscapes. By taking a holistic view of each client's unique financial situation, he designs clear, actionable strategies tailored to achieve their long-term objectives.

Corey is fully registered and licensed to provide specialized expertise across several core areas:

• Comprehensive Financial Planning: Crafting total wealth strategies.
• Investment Advisory Management: Structuring and overseeing portfolios.
• College Planning: Navigating funding and savings options.
• Insurance Solutions: Advising on annuities, life, and property & casualty coverage.

Corey holds Bachelor of Arts degrees in both Economics and Business Management from Wheaton College (MA), alongside a Certificate in Financial Planning from Boston University.

As a Certified Financial Planner™ practitioner, Corey has met rigorous ethical and professional standards. The CFP® certification, curriculum examinations, and trademarks are strictly administered by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc. (www.cfp.net).

Beyond his financial practice, Corey is deeply invested in local youth development and athletics. For more than ten years, he has proudly served as the head swim coach for both The Peninsula Club and Davidson Day School.

Jeannette Wray is an Executive Assistant on the NMFG team, where she ensures things run smoothly for leaders and team members alike. She supports calendar management, meeting coordination, project work, and day-to-day organization, helping the team stay connected, efficient, and focused on key priorities. Jeannette is known for being detail-oriented, dependable, and proactive. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family and volunteering at Carnegie Music Hall.

Liz Parreaguirre-Byrd joined the team in 2023 and serves as Assistant to Joshua Dobi and North Main Financial Group, supporting a variety of responsibilities in a dynamic, fast-paced role. With a background in interior-design, marketing, and sales, she brings creativity, organization and a strong client-focused approach to her work.

Originally from our Nation's Capital, Liz has called North Carolina home since 1999. Outside of work, she enjoys sending time with her husband, Brad, and their son, Cameron. Whether she's exploring the mountains or the beach, she is always active and has a love for the outdoors. 

Dahlia joined NMFG in 2025 and manages the marketing and social media, helping tell the story of the people and the values behind the firm. With 20 years of experience in both corporate and small business, she highlights what sets NMFG apart: genuine client relationships and exceptional personal service. Outside of work, you can usually find Dahlia on a soccer field cheering on one of her three children, alongside her husband, Matt.
